- 5. Why should I create a user account?
- In order to register for courses online, you must have a user account with The Open Mind Center. Creating a user account gives you online access to enroll in courses, view your registration history, change your address, and more.
- 6. How do I create a new user account?
- To create a user account, go to the Login page. Complete the corresponding form, click the Go button, and then proceed to complete the requested information. You must have an email address to set up an account with us.
- 7. What should I do if I've lost my password?
- If you've lost your password, click on the Lost My Password link on the login page. You will be taken to a page which allows you to enter your email address. Upon entering your email address and submitting your request, your password will be emailed to you.
- 8. How do I register for a course?
- For non-online registrations, you can complete the Registration Form and email it to registrations@theopenmindcenter.com, or mail it to:

Please register as early as possible. There is limited enrollment for all classes.
- 9. How do I register for a course online?
- To register for a course:
1. Look up the course you would like to enroll in on our Course Listing page.
2. Click on the course Code number associated with the Course you would like to attend.
3. Log onto the system. If you are already logged on, this step will be skipped.
4. If you are enrolling in other courses, click the Add More Courses button and repeat steps 1 and 2. Otherwise,continue to step 5.5. Once you have added all the desired courses to your Registration Form, click the Next button to continue theregistration process.6. Some courses require additional registration information (e.g. t-shirt size). If the course you enrolled in requiresadditional registration information, the Supplemental Data page will open. Enter the requested informationand click the Next button.7. Next, enter your payment information then click the Submit button.
8. The Registration Confirmation page will now appear notifying you that you have successfully enrolled in thecourse(s). A confirmation email with the registration specifics will also be sent to your email address.
- 10. Can I purchase more than one ticket for a class/event?
- Arrangements to purchase multiple tickets for an Open Mind Center program can be done by phone, mail, or in person.
- 11. Can members pay members' rates online?
- Yes. Members will automatically receive their discount at the point of payment. If the discount is not applied automatically, please call The Open Mind Center at (678) 243-5074 for the fee adjustment.
- 12. Which methods of payment do you accept?
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, checks with a valid ID, and cash. Checks should be made out to "The Open Mind Center." There is a $25 charge fee for checks returned for insufficient funds.
- 13. What is the cancellation policy if I am unable to attend?
- SINGLE EVENING EVENTS, SERIES, HALFDAY & MINI-WORKSHOPS
There are no refunds or course credits.
FULL WORKSHOPS, AND ONGOING CLASSES
Refunds are available minus a handling fee* if you cancel up to two weeks prior to the first day of the program. Course credits are available minus a handling fee* if you cancel up to 48 hours prior to the first day of the program. Course credit is valid for one year, and may be applied to memberships or courses by pre-registration only.
No refunds or credits will be given if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the first day of a program, or if you do not attend a program.
*HANDLING FEE
$15 for programs costing up to $250 and $35 for programs costing $250 and up.
LONG-TERM PROGRAMS AND CONFERENCES
These refund policies do not apply to long-term programs or conferences. If you start a long-term program and decide not to continue, no credit or refund will be given. If you begin a payment plan, and choose not to continue, you must notify the Center in writing by signed, original letter. You will not be relieved of your financial obligations.
- 14. Is there anything else I should know about payments?

For single evening events, series, mini-workshops, full workshops & ongoing classes full payment is required at the time of registration.
Long Term Programs
Special payment plans are available for long-term programs. Checks should be made out to "The Open Mind Center" and should be mailed at least a week before payment due date.

For payments made in advance or at The Open Mind Center, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks with a valid ID, and cash. Checks should be made out to "The Open Mind Center."

Group Discounts
Groups of 5 or more are entitled to a 10% discount, and groups of 10 or more are entitled to a 15% discount off the non-member price of any event. In order to qualify, you must pre-register all parties at once and pay in full at the time of registration.
- 15. How do I cancel a registration?
- You cannot cancel a registration online. To cancel a registration, you must call The Open Mind Center at (678) 243-5074 or send an email to registration@theopenmindcenter.com.
Please include your full name, address, daytime phone number, and registration details for the course you want to cancel (e.g. course code, title, dates).
- 16. How can I find out which classes I'm registered in?

To see a list of courses in which you are enrolled, visit the Registration History page and then click the appropriate button:
• Current Enrollment - view a list of the courses in which you are currently enrolled
• Completed Courses - view a list of your completed courses
- 17. Does The Open Mind Center ever cancel classes?
- The Open Mind Center reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Registrants will be notified by phone at least 24 hours prior to the event. A full refund will be issued via the credit card originally charged, or by check in the case of a cash or check payment.
- 18. How do I request CEUs or Certificates of Attendance?
- To request CEUs or Certificates of Attendance, complete the CEU / Certificate of Attendance Request Form online or download the attached Request Form and forward it to registrations@theopenmindcenter.com
