The Tea Room at the Open Mind Center

As both an integral part of holistic therapy and the most commonly consumed beverage in the world, tea is a vital component of our offerings.

Amongst its benefits, tea is known to contain polyphenols which are chemical compounds recognized for their potential cancer preventative qualities. Moreover, polyphenols are acknowledged for their properties associated with killing bacteria and lowering levels of stress producing hormones. One of the most popular forms of tea, which is derived from the Camellia sinensis leaf, green tea, has been claimed to be helpful for diabetes, weight loss, and liver disease.

At the Open Mind Center, we invite you to spend time relaxing in our Tea Room while you wait for a class or service or simply to treat yourself to a comforting and relaxing cup of inspiration in the midst of your busy day.
