Course Description:
Qigong is a mind, body and spirit healing method, which translates to mean “working with the Qi, or (Chi) Energy of Life.” The Chinese originated the system of gentle, graceful movements and meditative postures with deep breathing techniques thousands of years ago. These movements channel “Life Energy” through the body for detoxifying, energizing and healing. The benefit from this Ancient tradition will provide you with strong physical health, emotional balance and spiritual development. Learning this unique workout will give you a practice you can take with you everywhere and use at anytime. Qigong has powerful health-promoting effects-  Improves the motion of blood, warms the blood and enhances whole body circulation  Opens arteries allowing greater brain-based microcirculation  Helps us to calm down, relax and become more peaceful  Enhances mental acuity, focus and concentration  The Qi draws focus and trains the mind In Qigong- L1 Form, you will learn what balancing body, mind and spirit truly means. You’ll learn the Qigong Breath and get in touch with how to sense and feel your QI or energy. You will be introduced to the 5 different forms of spiraling and gathering, which are Qi postures, as well Qigong walking. You will practice the Qigong Meditation entitled “Full-Body Breathing”, and discover the five elemental theories for Body & Human Behavior.
